About the role
Job Summary
-
Compliance to foreman/supervisor’s instruction, to achieve and meet safety and daily targets.

Compliance to safe work procedures and risk assessment.

To carry out pipe welding in various material types according to WPS
-
To carry out other miscellaneous welding activities onboard or in Pipeshop as assigned
-
Perform other related jobs as assigned by HOD / Snr Engineer / Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for good quality welding on assigned tasks.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of auto-welding machines.
- Must be a team player and promote cohesiveness.
- To ensure personal safety and others inclusive.
- In due diligence, to report any defects found on any tools and equipment to their foreman/supervisor.
- Always maintain good housekeeping and safety at all the time onboard vessel & workshop.
Key Requirements

2 Years above with relevant working experience (Prefer in Marine & Maritime industry).

Competent in WSQ Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Shipyard (General Trade)

6G welding certification (minimum) in Carbon Steel.
