About the role
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Communications & Executive Advisory

Develop and implement corporate communications strategies that elevate brand reputation and strengthen stakeholder trust

Advise and prepare C-suite executives for high-profile media interviews, speaking engagements, panel appearances, and investor briefings

Craft speeches, briefing notes, and key messaging for leadership — with the ability to pivot quickly during urgent or last-minute changes

Lead communications around executive visibility, personal brand building, and thought leadership across channels (media, events, social)

Crisis Communications & Issues Management

Act as a key player in crisis communications planning and real-time response

Own the development of crisis playbooks, reactive holding statements, FAQs, and incident comms workflows

Manage time-sensitive escalations with internal leadership and external media under tight deadlines Media Relations & Press Engagement

Lead both earned and paid media strategies with a strong grasp of news cycles and journalist priorities

Handle media queries, press releases, interview coordination, and proactive storytelling
-
Foster and maintain trusted media relationships, especially in the technology and data infrastructure space Internal Communications & Change Management

Develop and roll out internal communication programs that drive engagement, culture, and alignment

Partner with HR and functional leads to support change communications and leadership announcements

Shape internal messaging that resonates across regional offices, including localization if required Agency & Stakeholder Management

Lead and collaborate with external PR, creative, and media agencies, ensuring top-quality deliverables

Craft clear, concise, and strategic briefs with pride in ownership and clarity of purpose

Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, operations, and leadership to unify messaging and voice Leadership, Mentorship & Collaboration

Be a strong team player who contributes to a high-performing comms culture

Mentor and guide junior staff and teammates in writing, strategy, and campaign delivery

Champion collaboration across regions and time zones
Qualifications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- 10–15 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or brand communications
- Strong experience handling crisis communications and internal communications programs
- Proven ability to work closely with C-level leaders and prepare them for media or public-facing events
- Track record in advising leadership on complex or sensitive matters with clarity and confidence
- Strong media handling skills, including press relationships and media training
- Familiarity with tech and data infrastructure narratives — experience in data centres is a plus
- Highly adaptable, calm under pressure, and able to thrive in fast-paced or reactive environments
- Excellent storytelling, writing, and editing skills — with the ability to shift tone for different audiences
- Self-starter who takes initiative, leads projects with minimal supervision, and owns outcomes
- Collaborative mindset with a positive attitude and strong team ethic
