About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize global server and virtualization platforms, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management
- Administer Linux and Windows environments, handle incidents, and drive the implementation of operational standards and best practices
- Design and operate data backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, and high recoverability
- Conduct regular backup and recovery drills, continuously improving system resilience and disaster recovery capabilities
- Maintain office network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, wireless APs), ensuring stable, secure and high-performance connectivity
- Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance, improve operational processes, and produce audit documentation
- Contribute to ongoing infrastructure improvements, support incident response, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 3-5+ years of experience in IT operations
- Strong hands-on experience with server and virtualization technologies, especially VMWare and/or Sangfor HCI
- Solid experience in Linux and Windows system administration, experience in standardization and process improvement is a plus
- Good understanding of backup and disaster recovery concepts, with hands-on experience in common backup strategies (full, incremental, differential)
- Strong networking fundamentals, with the ability to configure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches and wireless APs
- Familiarity with IT operations and backup-related audit processes, audit experience is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills, learning agility
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant certifications i.e.., VMWare, networking certifications are a plus
