About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation and commissioning (I&C) of network devices such as routers, switches, modems, and media converters.

  • Provide on-site troubleshooting for link and device-level issues (L1 support).

  • Coordinate with NOC / L2 teams for escalations and remote guidance.

  • Conduct link testing (PING / traceroute / loopback / media check) and validate service performance.

  • Handle fiber, copper, and wireless last-mile connectivity checks with field partners or ISPs.

  • Maintain proper documentation of incidents, call logs, and site visit reports.

  • Support migration, cutover, and upgrade activities under supervision.

  • Ensure timely resolution of faults as per SLA; update ticketing tools (INC / SR).

  • Coordinate with vendors and facility teams for site access and maintenance schedules.

  • Follow standard safety, EHS, and DC access protocols while working at customer premises.
