About the role

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Project Management and Governance to lead the project delivery and governance function across ICT, telecom, network infrastructure, managed services, cloud, data centre, and enterprise customer implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Management Office (PMO), project governance framework, and delivery standards.
• Oversee the end-to-end portfolio of ICT, telecom, cloud, data centre, managed services, and customer implementation projects.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of project managers and coordinators.
• Drive project delivery performance, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Establish and enhance project management methodologies, processes, reporting, and governance controls.
• Engage stakeholders, customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor project risks, issues, resources, and dependencies, and drive timely resolution and escalation management.
• Prepare portfolio and governance reports for senior management and executive review.
• Oversee resource planning, vendor management, cost control, and delivery capacity.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance, security, risk management, and quality assurance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, IT, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 20+ years of progressive experience in project, program, or portfolio management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing project teams and complex delivery portfolios.
• Proven track record in delivering complex ICT, telecom, network infrastructure, cloud, managed services, data centre, security, or system integration projects for enterprise customers.
• Strong experience in project governance, PMO operations, portfolio reporting, risk management, customer escalation handling, and cross-functional delivery coordination.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to guide project teams, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and drive delivery accountability.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Hands-on familiarity with tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Project/Planner, Power BI, Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, or similar AI-assisted PMO, workflow automation, dashboarding, and portfolio governance platforms is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP (Agile) are strongly preferred.
