TEST ENGINEERING INTERN - JOB DESCRIPTION

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a china. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Products division in China (Greater China region). Main stakeholders are the Manufacturing Engineering Team, Product Development Teams, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain Management.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Collaborating with various engineering teams to support ABB's test product development, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines.
• Utilizing understanding of product field requirment, setup PLC system.ensuring successful project test.
• Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve technical skills and professional development.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, electronic communications, automation, or related fields;
• Proficient in Python programming, capable of writing and debugging test scripts independently;
• Familiar with the pytest testing framework and have a basic understanding of fixtures, parameterization, conftest.py, and similar concepts;
• Basic knowledge of using Git for version control;
• Have an understanding of the basic architecture of embedded products (such as MCU, RTOS, communication interfaces, etc.)
• Passionate about continuous learning, innovation, and contributing to sustainable engineering solutions in the electrification industry
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory; Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable
