About the role

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of business applications and digital solutions
• Assist in system enhancement, troubleshooting and production support
• Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and database components
• Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and user guides
• Work closely with business users, project teams, and vendors to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Support system integration, UAT and deployment activities
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve business efficiency and user experience

Requirements

• Degree Holder or Higher Diploma holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related discipline

• 1 to 3 years of experience in IT system development and maintenance

• Knowledge of and/or experience with system design and development with all / some of the following technologies:

• Programming Languages: Power Builder, Java, Javascript, JQuery, Ajax, PL/SQL, Shell Script, Web Service (SOAP, REST), XML, JSON, MobileApp language (Objective-C / Swift / Android);

• Web technologies: HTML5, CSS, RESTful API;

• Database: MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB

• Exposure to React, .NET, cloud platforms, container technologies, or AI-related technologies would be an advantage

• Good communication skills in English and Chinese
