About the role

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee end-to-end insolvency and debt recovery processes.
  • Coordinate with debt collection agencies, liquidators, official assignees, and other external parties on delinquent accounts.
  • Perform write-off processing, payment allocation, and account reconciliation activities.
  • Handle internal and external enquiries professionally and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to investigate and resolve system defects.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives such as RPA and workflow enhancements.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and operational statistics to support business decisions.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and data protection standards.

What we're looking for

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Credit Management, Debt Collection, Debt Recovery, Accounts Receivable, or related finance operations.
  • Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in Telecommunications, Banking, Financial Services, or Shared Services environments will be advantageous.

Technical Skills

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, functions, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience working with CRM or finance systems.
  • Exposure to debt recovery, insolvency management, liquidation, proof of debt processes, or collection agencies is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of automation tools such as Power Automate or RPA is beneficial.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
