About the role

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with Taiwan business objectives and regional HR priorities.
  • Partner with leadership to drive workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and talent management.
  • Work closely with CoE teams to localize and execute global and regional HR initiatives.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle — from job posting, sourcing, screening, and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Proactively identify and develop recruitment channels to strengthen the talent pipeline and execute the company's talent acquisition strategy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
  • Develop and coordinate employee engagement activities and events that foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Provide guidance on disciplinary actions, coaching plans, and performance improvement plans (PIPs).
  • Support managers through the performance appraisal cycle, ensuring consistency and fairness.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance staff productivity and professional growth.
  • Assist in salary reviews, benefits administration, and benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Ensure all HR practices comply with Taiwan labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Stay current on legislative changes and advise the business on compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of HR experience in a full-function HR generalist, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Taiwan labor law (勞動基準法) and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder influencing skills.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
