You'll make a difference by:
- Operating and optimizing enterprise IT and factory OT networks across manufacturing plants, production workshops, offices, and data centers, ensuring reliable and secure network services.
- Managing network infrastructure and connectivity including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, access points, WAN/SD-WAN solutions, and network management platforms.
- Supporting Layer 2/Layer 3 networking and core services by configuring and troubleshooting VLANs, STP, link aggregation, gateway redundancy, routing protocols, DHCP, DNS, NTP, IP addressing, VPNs, and related services.
- Ensuring wireless network performance and availability through monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of coverage, capacity, interference, roaming, authentication policies, and client connectivity.
- Maintaining network security and IT/OT segmentation by supporting firewall policies, NAT, ACLs, VPNs, 802.1X, NAC, RADIUS/TACACS+, certificate-based authentication, and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
- Driving operational excellence and project delivery by supporting factory digitalization initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, incident resolution, documentation, topology management, change processes, and collaboration with global teams and vendors.
Your defining qualities:
- Educational background in technology or engineering with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Communication Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline.
- Strong networking fundamentals including Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies such as VLANs, STP, link aggregation, gateway redundancy, IPv4 subnetting, and dynamic routing protocols.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, and troubleshooting across wired and wireless environments.
- Knowledge of network protocols and security controls including TCP/IP, ARP, ICMP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, SNMP, Syslog, AAA, NAT, VPN, IT/OT segmentation, access control, and least-privilege principles.
- Proficiency in network operations and troubleshooting using packet captures, ping, traceroute, logs, monitoring tools, and ITSM incident, request, problem, and change management processes.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work on-site, coordinate across teams and vendors, communicate effectively in English, and support planned maintenance or emergency response activities when required.
