Looking for a talented Field Service Technician to join our team. Based from our Hume facility, you’ll provide Heavy Vehicle service, repairs and maintenance support to customers across the Canberra and surrounding regions, including Snowy Mountains, Kosciuszko and Thredbo areas. Working across on-highway trucks, industrial and power generation applications, you’ll deliver expert technical support both at customer sites and for on-highway breakdowns.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: ****

  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field

  • Diagnose and repair engines

  • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components

  • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning

  • Work with other major Heavy Duty truck OEMs like Kenworth

To be successful in this role you will need the following: ****

  • Mechanical trade qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic to Australian Standards

  • Must have a MVTC - Motor vehicle trade certificate, or be willing to obtain one

  • Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)

  • Previous field service experience advantageous

  • HR Drivers Licence Highly regarded, but not essential

Local Valid Drivers License is required
