State-of-the-art new branch in Tamworth
We are looking for a talented Supervisor, Truck Bay to join our growing team in Tamworth, NSW.
In this role, you’ll work closely with technicians and apprentices, providing coaching, mentoring and work direction to support their development. You’ll also review repair plans, manage subcontractors, source materials, develop quotations and help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Leading and mentoring a team of approximately 12 to 14 technicians and apprentices, supporting the team to achieve performance and operational KPIs

Providing work direction and coordinating repair plans, materials and subcontractors

Ensuring adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Branch Leadership

Being a hands-on tools Supervisor from time to time
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
-
Qualified Heavy Diesel Automotive Mechanic is preferred, but will also consider a Light Vehicle background with heavy experience

Previous experience supervising, leading or mentoring a team in a workshop environment is preferred, but not essential

Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

A hands-on approach with a strong commitment to safety, quality and customer service
