About the role
Job Description (Sr. Manager/Manager) A credit manager needs to oversee the credit functions of a business. They are responsible for managing the credit risk, cash flow, and liquidity, of the organization. They also ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and accounting standards.
Major Responsibilities/Purpose of the Job: The duties and responsibilities of a credit manager are:

Evaluate the creditworthiness of existing and potential customers and set appropriate credit limits, Risk Profiling and Terms.

Monitor account receivables and minimize bad debts.

Standard soft skills consist of personality traits, social agencies, communication, language skills, friendliness, and optimism.

Negotiate deals with customers (Internal and External), suppliers, and lenders to resolve credit issues, disputes, and favourable Contractual Terms.

Monitoring customer onboarding, predictive Risk analytics, and maintenance of credit centralized data.

Drive Innovations to achieve an Organisation's Digital footprint, transform the credit management field, improve productivity and eliminate repetitive tasks.

Develop and implement credit and treasury policies and procedures.

Optimize the cash management and working capital of the business.

Identify and mitigate financial risks, such as currency, interest rate, and liquidity risks.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and tax regulations.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting, or related field

Professional certification, such as CCP (Certified Credit Professional), CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or CMA, is preferred.

At least 5 years of experience in Credit Management or related roles

Strong knowledge of financial markets, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks

Proficient in using SAP, Microsoft Office-(Spreadsheet and VISIO) , and Database Management

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines and bring Innovation.
