BU SPOC - Techno Commercial

About the role

Responsibilities

• BU Partnership: Serve as the primary GCC interface for assigned Business Units; understand priorities, clarify requirements, manage expectations and maintain regular stakeholder engagement.
• End-to-End Delivery: Coordinate service delivery across Procurement, Governance, GDGC and MDM; monitor demand, backlog, ageing, dependencies and closure against agreed SOW, SLA and TAT.
• Governance & Escalation: Conduct periodic reviews with Business Units, SDLs, Tower Leads and Team Leads; maintain dashboards and action trackers; resolve bottlenecks and escalate critical risks promptly.
• Procurement Coordination: Support sourcing, contracting, auctions, supplier onboarding, catalogue management, PO-related services and associated governance within the approved GCC scope.
• Master Data & GDGC: Coordinate master data requests and governance across vendor, material, service, customer and finance domains; ensure required validation, approvals, data-quality controls and audit evidence.
• Operational Excellence: Drive process compliance, audit readiness, root-cause resolution, standardization, automation and continuous improvement to enhance quality, productivity and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering in any discipline; MBA / PGDM preferred.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Shared Services/GCC Operations, Governance, Master Data Management or Business Operations.
• Experience in cross-functional stakeholder management and service delivery in an SLA-driven environment.
• Working exposure to platforms such as SAP, SAP Ariba, SAP MDG, ServiceNow or equivalent systems is preferred.
