About the role

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding:

o Support recruitment processes tailored to the site's requirements

o Enabling the Day-1 onboarding based on document verification in coordination with security

o Coordinate with Admin for Joining Kit distribution based on pre-shared joining lists

o Ensure IT asset allocation on day of joining by coordinating with the IT team

o Manage the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.

o Administrative support for managing the induction process as designed

o Welcome session with the new joiner and meet & greet with the Manager & team

  • Contractor Labor Management System:

o Unique contractor ID creation & update in the CLMS (Kronos) for all contractors

o Enable time and attendance tracking for all workmen at the sites

o Manage the off-roll workforce management with focus on Legatrix platform and oversee the licenses and RC of labor laws

o On ground coordination with the BU, contractor, security & other departments in case of offboarding

  • Performance and Development:

o Administer performance management systems and work with leaders to ensure regular feedback and development planning.

o Identify training needs and coordinate relevant learning and development initiatives to upskill employees.

o Support GCC Towers in execution of the annual review cycles in order to achieve timely competition

  • Compliance and Policy Implementation:

o Ensure adherence to all applicable labor laws and internal policies.

o Review and update HR policies to reflect the dynamic needs of the capability center.

o Managing Labor law related notices, filing of Monthly/ Quarterly/ Half yearly/ Annual returns (Non-Payroll) (including Apprentice Act)

o Statutory documentation and recordkeeping team is responsible for the document management of all the sites

  • Health, Safety, and Wellbeing:

o Coordinates the communication between the Site HR/Cluster HR Head and GCC LEA team whenever needed on employee health & safety issues

o Support in incident management with coordination between employee/workmen, regional site manager, reporting manager and BU HR

o Logging & escalating the required incidents to Group IR team over a call/e-mail in case of critical incidents

  • Stakeholder management:

o Cultivate long standing relationships with local departments, regional labor office and other external stakeholders to maintain seamless operations.

o Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and keep them informed about site activities, changes, and developments.

  • Employee Engagement and Culture:

o Organize events, workshops, and activities to foster a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture.

o Support the employee engagement events by coordination with established vendors, procurement and administration teams

o Calendarization of events and designing, communicating and coordinating for all engagement events at the sites

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA in HR is advantageous.
  • 3-10 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing unit, plant or similar environment.
