About the role
Responsibilities
ESG Analyst
Planning and Execution:
- Assist in executing the ESG strategy by collecting data on environmental, social, and governance metrics from various departments.
- Coordinate the submission of monthly data from KPIs across departments, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Support the planning of sustainability initiatives by providing critical data inputs for environmental and governance frameworks.
Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvements in data collection, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Recommend improvements in the existing ESG reporting system to optimize data flow and minimize errors.
- Implement streamlined data processes to enhance integration between departments for better ESG performance.
HSE and Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to the Environmental Management System (EMS) by collecting data on regulatory compliance for air, water, waste, and safety.
- Monitor compliance across departments and submit findings to regulatory authorities as required.
- Review the data for consistency with regulatory requirements, providing input for necessary corrections.
Cost Management and Budgeting:
- Track costs associated with ESG-related activities, ensuring that data collection and reporting processes are within budget.
- Assist in budget planning for sustainability and governance projects by analyzing financial data related to ESG initiatives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in the implementation of ESG programs.
Resource and Workforce Management:
- Coordinate with departments to gather ESG-related data, ensuring all teams are aligned with reporting timelines.
- Support ESG-related workforce planning by providing data insights for staff involved in sustainability and governance projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage resources for ESG reporting and compliance activities.
Reporting and Data Analytics:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly ESG reports, including integrated and sustainability reports, using data collected from various departments.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for environmental and governance aspects, identifying trends and areas of concern.
- Contribute to the development of the governance framework by providing detailed data analysis and insights.
Digitization and Tech Adoption:
- Utilize digital tools and software for ESG data collection and analysis, improving the efficiency of reporting processes.
- Implement digital dashboards to track key ESG metrics in real-time, allowing for quicker decision-making.

Qualifications
Education Qualification:
Bachelor's / master’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, or related field
Work Experience (Range of years):
4-8 years in sustainability, ESG reporting, or data analysis roles
