About the role
Responsibilities
Support Airside Ground Maintenance Operations:
Assist in executing daily maintenance operations, ensuring that all airside areas, including runways, taxiways, and other critical infrastructure, are in optimal condition.
Help in planning and scheduling maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to airport operations.
Record Keeping:
Record and maintain accurate data on runway surface conditions and maintenance activities ensuring high level of accuracy and precision.
Contribute to the analysis of collected data regarding runway surface conditions and maintenance effectiveness, providing insights for improvement.
Emergency Response Preparedness:
Participate in trainings for emergency response protocols related to hazardous material spills and other safety incidents.
Support emergency response efforts during incidents, following established procedures and protocols.
Compliance and Safety:
Follow all safety and regulatory procedures to ensure compliance with airside ground operations and best practices.
Promote a culture of safety among team members, encouraging adherence to safety protocols and reporting unsafe conditions.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with maintenance team, providing assistance in executing tasks such as grass cutting, debris removal, and equipment operation.
Participate in training sessions and share knowledge with junior staff to enhance team capabilities and maintain high safety standards.
Incident Reporting:
Report any safety incidents, maintenance issues, or hazards observed to senior team members or appropriate authorities.
Assist in investigations related to incidents or accidents, providing necessary documentation and support as required.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
Identify and recommend opportunities for enhancing maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
Assist in implementing new technologies and best practices to improve operations.

Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical) is essential.
Certifications/Trainings:
Safety Management System (SMS) Training
Airport Operations Management Certification
Structured training in aviation management and related activities from a reputed institution
Work Experience:
3-5 years of experience in airport ground maintenance or a related field.
