About the role
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and lead the security automation strategy; establish governance frameworks; champion innovation; influence policy development.
- Security Technology & Automation: Oversee AI-driven analytics, IoT devices and monitoring platforms; ensure scalability of CCTV, access control and biometric systems; develop automated threat detection and response frameworks; leverage analytics for optimization.
- Project Governance: Provide oversight for security automation projects, budgeting, risk mitigation, KPI tracking and quality benchmarks.
- Partner Selection & Engagement: Shape vendor selection strategy; negotiate partnerships; monitor vendor performance.
- Performance Improvement: Institute metrics, drive innovation, optimize systems and benchmark against global standards.
- People Leadership: Lead and mentor teams, develop succession plans and collaborate with business units.

Qualifications
Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's Degree. Additional qualifications or certifications in Security Management preferred.
Experience: Minimum 20 years in corporate security. Military or law enforcement background preferred.
Industry Preferred: Utility industry experience with exposure to corporate security best practices and innovative security technology solutions preferred.
