Mechanical Drafter (Singapore)
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and revise accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD to support project requirements.
- Produce General Arrangement (GA), installation, and as-built drawings for data center cooling systems.
- Develop customer submission drawings and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Assist engineers in creating CFD models for airflow simulations to optimize cooling performance.
- Update drawings promptly based on engineering changes and site conditions to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain drawing revisions and manage document control processes to support project integrity.
- Coordinate with project engineers, sales engineers, and factories to verify drawing accuracy and completeness.
- Support engineering and project teams with additional drafting tasks as needed to facilitate project execution.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
- Experience with Revit software.
- Basic understanding of mechanical or HVAC systems.
- Experience supporting CFD modelling.
- Detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to work independently.
Education / Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Drafting, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of drafting experience, preferably in HVAC or M&E projects.
