About the role
Job Summary
The **Senior Retrofit Engineer **– Senior Retrofit Engineer is dedicated to serve customers and responsible for planning and overseeing plant room retrofit projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget by ensuring high job site safety and quality fulfillment of contractual obligations for customer satisfaction. The Senior Retrofit Engineer plans and allocates project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project implementation and delivery.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Assist the team manager in order-to-cash management and collaborate with the stream managers in revenue planning (forecasting & execution).
- Prepare project implementation plan, coordinate with stakeholders and initiate internal & external kick-off meetings.
- Lead the project execution, identify & disseminate the tasks and monitor the progress.
- Control the costs and ensure that resources and utilized efficiently.
- Manage risks, prepare mitigation plan and ensure compliance with the company policies & safety regulations.
- Communicate updates, manage expectations and ensure transparency.
- Ensure deliverables meet the client’s quality standards and requirements.
- Assist sales team on the technical analysis of the customer’s pain points, needs and requirements.
- Perform site surveys/plantroom walkthrough, validate plantroom operation sequence & gather operating parameters, attend pre-bid, conduct tender clarifications and interview plantroom owners.
- Assist sales team in designing technical solutions by mapping requirements into our products & services.
- Assist on vendor/subcontractor sourcing. Collect and assess quotations.
- Prepare retrofit bill of quantity, cost estimates and assist sales on commercial proposal generation.
- Assist on the equipment selection (chiller, AHU, unitary, etc.).
- Assist sales in answering technical questions about specifications, system compatibilities, solution compliance & industry standards.
- Prepare initial technical proposals, illustrations, presentations & documentations to support the sales proposals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering

In-depth knowledge of HVAC

Ability to read and understand plans & specifications.

Knowledge of local and industry codes that regulate the HVAC industry.

Ability to use Microsoft Platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Basic CAD tools.
