About the role

What you will do

• Minimum of 2-6 years of experience in Cyber security in Operational Technology domain.
• Strong understanding of network security and system security principles.
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies (BurpSuite, Qualys, Metasploit, Cloud, IOT and embedded devices)
• Proficiency in SDLC, security management and engineering expertise, Threat modelling, Application Security, Network Security, Mobile Security, Software Security etc.
• Experience with severity ratings systems, and ability to calculate CVSS ratings for identified vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of penetration testing techniques, application security vulnerabilities, OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, CWE, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, GPEN, Licensed Penetration tester are highly desirable.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments on multiple projects
• Prepare and present security reports to management and regulatory bodies
• Mentor and support junior security staff
• Promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
• Stay updated with the latest cyber security trends, threats, and technologies.
• Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the organization's security posture.
• This position is for the Engineer – Cyber Security role within the ETC Product Security team, based in Bangalore. It follows a hybrid work schedule, with onsite work required four days a week, from Monday through Thursday.
