About the role
What you will do
Financial Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
- Lead LRP, AOP, quarterly forecasts, monthly close, and variance analysis for the IT organization.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality monthly reporting in line with the corporate calendar.
- Drive forecast discipline and improve forecast accuracy versus actuals.
- Identify and deliver productivity and cost-saving opportunities through tighter cost control and external spend optimization.
- Strengthen financial reporting and insights for leadership reviews.
Strategic Finance Business Partnering
- Act as the primary finance partner to IT leaders and global delivery cost center owners.
- Conduct regular financial reviews with IT leaders to improve transparency, decision-making, and alignment with priorities.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, including business cases, funding models & ownership.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Standardize and strengthen finance processes across the IT organization.
- Develop and improve productivity tracking mechanisms to measure savings and operational improvements.
- Drive adoption of automation and lean practices to reduce manual effort and improve reporting efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance finance operations.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team through effective hiring, onboarding, delegation, and mentoring.
- Build team capability through structured development, knowledge sharing, and cross-training.
- Support employee engagement initiatives including mentorship, internal learning, and leadership visibility.
What you will bring:
- Candidate ProfileChartered Accountant with 5**-10 years** of relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business finance.
- Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis.
- Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence business decisions.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience with strong coaching and team development capabilities.
- Experience driving process improvement, productivity, and finance automation / AI initiatives and Finance Modeling.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience supporting IT finance / technology functions / shared services environment.
- Exposure to investment governance, business case evaluation, and cost optimization.
- Familiarity with automation and lean/process excellence practices.
- Demonstrated collaboration and relationship building skills
