About the role

What will you do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and manage expectations.
  • Architect Salesforce Solutions: Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform.
  • Lead Technical Design Sessions: Conduct technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between current and desired end states.
  • Project Oversight and Governance: Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects.
  • Coding Standards and Code Reviews: Follow and help define coding standards. Lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed.
  • Technical Delivery Management: Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of Salesforce implementation.
  • Debugging and Issue Resolution: Understand projects in-depth and debug issues as needed.

What you will bring

  • Experience: Experience: 10-15 years in Salesforce development and Minimum 3 years of architecture, with absolute clarity on data architecture and integration.
  • Salesforce Expertise: Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds.
  • Systems Architecture: Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable, performance-driven solutions.
  • Design Patterns and Best Practices: Knowledge of key design patterns, large data volume limitations, and best practices.
  • Data Sharing and Visibility: Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and their impact on platform architecture.
  • Authentication Patterns: Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth).
  • Data Integration Tools: Experience with data integration tools and integrating Salesforce with various business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.).
  • Environment and Release Management: Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
  • Platform Security: Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL).
  • System Architecture Landscapes: Expert-level experience in defining system architecture landscapes, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering comprehensive solutions to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Web-Based Systems Development: Strong background in the design/development of large web-based systems or complete software product lifecycle exposure.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Competencies:

  • Salesforce Products: Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Tableau, OMS, or other Salesforce products.
  • Data Technologies: Knowledge of data warehousing, big data technologies, and data analytics.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. Salesforce Technical Architect
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud.
