About the role

We are seeking a talented and driven Territory Manager to join our dynamic team and drive sales growth in the Navi Mumbai region. As a key member of the L7 - IN - LEGRAND - Project Sales department, you will play a vital role in expanding our market presence and establishing strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to target and engage key stakeholders, including contractors, builders, architects, and consultants.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective marketing campaigns, targeting the right audience.
  • Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to clients, ensuring they understand the benefits and features of our electrical products.
  • Conduct market research and analyze data to identify potential leads and develop targeted sales approaches.
  • Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, including lead generation, conversions, and pipeline management.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to represent the company and establish its presence.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all sales interactions and activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the electrical or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical products, including switches, sockets, and switchgears.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
  • Fluency in local languages, in addition to English, is preferred.
