Tech Lead-Single Phase

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead for Single Phase UPS solutions to join IN - NOVATEUR ELECTRICAL & DIGITAL SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED. The role involves overseeing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of single‑phase UPS units, leading a technical team, and delivering independent support as needed to ensure reliable power protection for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of single‑phase UPS systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and fault analysis on UPS units to minimize downtime.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all assigned UPS installations.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of UPS projects.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and apprentices.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation for all activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client escalations and technical queries.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Travel to client sites as required for installation, service, and support.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience with single‑phase UPS systems.
• Diploma or ITI qualification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Proven track record in troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of UPS units.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a technical team.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work flexible hours as needed.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
