About the role
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for large-scale data center infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with AdaniConneX’s strategic goals.
- Oversee critical project activity planning, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor and govern project progress through detailed reviews of schedules, budgets, and milestones, ensuring adherence to quality and performance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative and sustainable practices into project execution, reflecting AdaniConneX’s core values.
- Utilize advanced project management tools and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Chief Project Officer, highlighting key project metrics, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead stakeholder engagement efforts, ensuring transparent communication and alignment with project objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project performance data and implementing best practices.
- Ensure seamless coordination with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to meet project deliverables.
- Support the development of scalable and resilient project frameworks that align with AdaniConneX’s vision of being a trusted digital infrastructure partner
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5-15 years of experience in project management, planning, budgeting, and governance, with a focus on infrastructure and data center projects.
- Proven expertise in critical project activity planning, review, and monitoring of schedules and budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex projects within the infrastructure or data center domain
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Project Management or Business Administration (preferred).
Years & Type of Experience
- 17+ years of experience in project planning and control, with a strong focus on infrastructure and data center projects.
- Extensive experience in managing end-to-end project lifecycles, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Domain Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of infrastructure and data center project planning and execution.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in project management and governance.
- Expertise in risk management, resource allocation, and performance monitoring for large-scale projects.
Digital & Operational Tools
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Experience with data analytics platforms for project performance tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with digital transformation tools and technologies relevant to infrastructure and data center projects.
Leadership Capabilities
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in managing budgets exceeding $100M and delivering projects on time and within scope.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and transparency within teams and with external partners.
