**We are looking for: IT Solution Expert - **SAP S/4HANA Finance & AI Enablement Consultant
Siemens IT is looking for a highly motivated SAP S/4HANA Finance & AI Enablement Consultant to join a globally connected team driving Finance transformation across Siemens. This role combines deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance with a passion for artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and intelligent automation. You will play a key role in shaping the future Finance landscape by leveraging SAP capabilities, emerging AI technologies, and modern enterprise architectures to drive business value at scale. This position offers the unique opportunity to work at the intersection of Finance transformation, SAP innovation, and AI adoption, helping Finance organizations become more efficient, data-driven, and future-ready.
You’ll make an impact by
- Drive AI enablement within the Finance transformation landscape, identifying and implementing AI-powered use cases that increase productivity, automation, and business value across Finance processes.
- Act as a trusted advisor on emerging AI technologies, helping business and IT stakeholders understand and leverage capabilities such as AI agents, LLMs, SAP Business AI, and intelligent automation.
- Configure, implement, and support SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, including system configuration, enhancement, and process optimization aligned with SAP best practices.
- Contribute to Finance transformation initiatives within the SHERPA X Record-to-Report (R2R) workstream, specifically in the area of organizational restructuring and Finance transformation, supporting process harmonization and digital transformation across Siemens.
- Support Finance transformation and integration activities related to segment reorganizations, company code consolidations, profit center realignments, and organizational structure changes, assessing impacts across SAP S/4HANA Finance and integrated MM and SD processes.
- Evaluate opportunities to combine SAP and AI capabilities to create intelligent workflows, improve decision-making, and streamline Finance operations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders across Finance, IT, and project teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SAP and AI-enabled solutions.
- Support testing and change activities, including unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment readiness.
- Support financial period-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring stable and compliant Finance operations.
- Document configurations, processes, and solution designs to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with SAP S/4HANA and AI innovations, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance Finance processes and user productivity.
You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including
- AI & Digital Innovation
o Demonstrated interest and practical experience in AI, digital transformation, and emerging technologies, with a proven track record of driving AI-related initiatives, pilots, or business use cases.
o Good understanding of Generative AI, AI agents, API connectivity, and enterprise AI architectures.
o Awareness of concepts such as Model Context Protocol (MCP), Knowledge Graphs, semantic retrieval, and modern AI ecosystems is highly desirable.
o Familiarity with SAP Business AI, Joule, SAP AI Foundation, or related SAP AI capabilities is considered a strong advantage.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance Expertise
o 7+ years of SAP Finance experience, including at least 4 years in SAP S/4HANA Finance.
o Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, Finance processes, and end-to-end integration across the enterprise landscape.
o Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, migrations, or transformation programmes.
o Solid understanding of finance business processes and core accounting principles.
o Hands-on experience in Finance configuration, solution design, testing, and process optimisation.
o Experience with organizational restructuring initiatives such as company code consolidations, segment reorganizations, profit center realignments, master data harmonization, and the impact of organizational changes on Finance processes and reporting structures.
o Exposure to integration topics between SAP Finance, Materials Management (MM), and Sales & Distribution (SD) is beneficial.
o Knowledge of integration technologies such as APIs, IDocs, BAPIs, and middleware solutions is an advantage.
o Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a global, cross-functional environment.
o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
