How You will Make An Impact
- Develop and recommend the Network Data & Knowledge architecture and contribute to the roadmap: Develop solution architecture for UDA, data processing, semantic/knowledge services and reusable data products within approved ACE, Autonomous Network and enterprise architecture principles; provide technical recommendations for roadmap evolution.
- Engineer trusted data ingestion and processing: Design and scale real-time and batch ingestion from NRI, OSS/NMS, probes, telemetry, configuration and operational systems; standardise, transform and enrich data for downstream use.
- Develop and maintain canonical network data models and semantics: Develop and maintain canonical models, ontology, taxonomies and semantic relationships across resource, service, customer-impact and operational domains within approved architecture and governance standards, aligned where applicable to TM Forum information models and standards.
- Provide technical leadership for the Network Knowledge Plane: Lead technical design and engineering of graph and semantic capabilities that connect inventory, topology, services, events, incidents, performance, changes and operational knowledge into a reusable knowledge foundation within the approved architecture.
- Design and deliver reusable network data and knowledge products: Design and deliver reusable data products and knowledge APIs in accordance with agreed ownership, contracts, quality measures, access controls and SLOs for AI, automation, assurance, analytics and application consumers.
- Establish data governance and trust: Implement metadata, catalogue, lineage, provenance, data-quality controls, retention and access governance so data and knowledge are traceable, discoverable and fit for production use.
- Enable AI and Autonomous Network use cases: Provide trusted context, retrieval and knowledge services for NAN, service assurance and agentic operations while keeping decision logic and autonomous action ownership with the relevant ACE capability teams.
- Support platform engineering, performance and cost efficiency: Develop and apply approved technology patterns for scalable data, search, analytics and graph platforms; optimise availability, performance, resilience, security and total cost of ownership within established platform standards.
- Apply DataOps and engineering excellence: Apply automated testing, CI/CD, schema/data-contract validation, infrastructure/platform automation and controlled release practices in collaboration with PRE and EPE.
- Support product and stakeholder alignment: Provide technical input to roadmap prioritisation with network domains and ACE teams; translate approved priorities and use-case needs into reusable engineering capabilities and help prevent duplicated point solutions.
- Support production readiness and service quality: Assess and recommend production readiness against agreed criteria and support achievement of application/platform service quality and data SLOs, working with PRE on observability, incident/problem management, resilience and operational acceptance.
- Contribute technical input to strategy, investment and capability development: Provide technical input to AOP, business cases, procurement/vendor evaluation, workforce capability building and technology innovation for the Network Data & Knowledge domain.
