Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS),edge-to-cloud architecture, IoT ecosystems, and cybersecurity. In this role, they will be responsible for translating product requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable architectural solutions, driving architectural governance, and ensuring seamless integration across HEMS, EcoOS, edge services, data services, core services, and Azure cloud platforms.
The successful candidate will serve as a key technical leader, working closely with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Technical Leads, Security Advisors, and Data Privacy Architects, while actively contributing to the Architecture Council to shape and uphold the organization's technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret business and technical requirements, translating them into robust solution architectures.
- Review and provide guidance on architecture and solutions proposed by engineering managers and architects.
- Assess solution designs and deployment architectures developed by technical leads and engineering teams, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
- Define secure, scalable, resilient, and maintainable architectures for HEMS and related platforms.
- Design and recommend Edge-to-Cloud integration patterns, data synchronization strategies, and interoperability frameworks.
- Actively participate in Architecture Council reviews, governance processes, and strategic decision-making activities.
- Lead and support the development and approval of Final Cyber Security Reports (FCSR).
- Collaborate with Cyber Security Advisors on threat modeling, Picasso reviews, security assessments, and compliance initiatives.
- Partner with data privacy architects to embed privacy-by-design principles and regulatory requirements into solution architectures.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration across product, engineering, security, and architecture teams, ensuring alignment of business objectives and technical execution.

They will drive architectural excellence, champion security and compliance, and enable the delivery of scalable, resilient, and future-ready HEMS solutions across edge and cloud environments. Through strong technical leadership and stakeholder engagement, they will help ensure consistent architecture governance and successful product delivery across the ecosystem.
