Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer - Goldtech Resources, Singapore

We are seeking a proactive Network Operations Centre Engineer to support 24x7 managed services operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients and vendors, responsible for monitoring, triaging, and escalating network and infrastructure incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor client networks, systems, and infrastructure using network monitoring tools
• Perform first-level diagnosis and troubleshooting of network incidents
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2/3 engineers and vendors as needed
• Log all incidents and service requests in the ticketing system with accurate details
• Coordinate with field engineers, carriers, and vendors for timely resolution
• Follow standard operating procedures and escalation matrices
• Support scheduled maintenance, system upgrades, and change implementations
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of network topologies, runbooks, and procedures
• Assist in generating incident reports and performance metrics
• Participate in shift rotation to ensure 24x7 NOC coverage

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 2-5 years of experience in a NOC or network operations environment
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios)
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)
• Good communication skills for client and vendor interaction
• Ability to work in 24x7 shift rotation
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, ITIL) are a plus
