Senior Commercial Lead, Data Center Programs (APAC) - Vantage Data Centers, Cyberjaya, Malaysia

Vantage Data Centers in Cyberjaya seeks a Senior Manager, Commercial to lead cost control, contract governance and procurement across a portfolio of APAC projects. You will partner with project directors, delivery teams and legal to drive value while balancing cost, schedule and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost control, contract governance, and procurement across a portfolio of APAC data center projects
• Partner with project directors, delivery teams, and legal to drive value while balancing cost, schedule, and quality
• Manage multi-project commercial performance in mission-critical environments
• Apply deep knowledge of contracting forms (FIDIC/NEC) and procurement best practices
• Drive commercial strategy and standards across APAC markets
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including contract negotiation and claims management
• Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for construction programs
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance frameworks
• Lead commercial risk management and mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, construction, finance, and legal

Requirements

• Strong leadership with proven multi-project management experience in mission-critical environments
• Deep knowledge of contracting forms (FIDIC/NEC) and procurement best practices
• Experience in data center or large-scale infrastructure construction commercial management
• Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
• Professional certifications (MRICS, MCIOB) preferred
