Senior Commercial Lead, Data Center Solutions - DayOne, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
DayOne, a global leader in data centre infrastructure, seeks a Senior Commercial Manager to own profitability across its customer portfolio. You will drive pricing strategies, review complex contracts, and partner with legal, sales, and product teams to pursue opportunities and optimise revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Own profitability across the customer portfolio for data center solutions
- Drive pricing strategies and commercial optimization across markets
- Review and negotiate complex contracts, including colocation, managed services, and lease agreements
- Partner with legal, sales, and product teams to pursue opportunities and optimise revenue
- Shape commercial standards across markets
- Manage multiple high-stakes priorities simultaneously
- Apply deep ICT/data centre market understanding to commercial decision-making
- Lead contract governance, risk management, and compliance
- Support business development and bid/proposal activities from a commercial perspective
- Drive continuous improvement of commercial processes and frameworks
Requirements
- Deep ICT/data centre market understanding
- Strong commercial acumen and contract management expertise
- Ability to manage multiple high-stakes priorities while shaping commercial standards across markets
- Experience in data center, telecom, or ICT infrastructure commercial management
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Professional certifications (MBA, CFA) preferred
