Senior Data Center Construction Lead - Iron Mountain Incorporated, Johor Bahru, Malaysia

Iron Mountain Incorporated is seeking a strategic Senior Project Manager (Construction) to lead our multi-facility data center development program in Johor, including a critical high-voltage utility substation. You'll be the on-site delivery lead, coordinating GC and design teams, navigating regulatory requirements, and driving progress to keep milestones on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multi-facility data center development program in Johor, Malaysia
• Serve as on-site delivery lead for construction projects including high-voltage utility substation
• Coordinate with General Contractors (GC) and design teams
• Navigate regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with local authorities
• Drive progress to keep milestones on schedule and within budget
• Manage construction project planning, execution, and closeout
• Oversee CPM (Critical Path Method) scheduling and cost tracking
• Coordinate with stakeholders including engineering, operations, and local authorities
• Manage contractor performance, quality control, and safety compliance
• Lead risk identification and mitigation for construction programs
• Report project status, risks, and financials to senior leadership

Requirements

• 8+ years in large-scale construction, preferably in data center or mission-critical facilities
• Strong CPM (Critical Path Method) and cost-tracking skills
• Familiarity with data center construction standards and best practices
• Experience managing high-voltage substation construction is a plus
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
