Data Center Sourcing Manager - Altuscloud, Singapore
Altuscloud is seeking a Data Center Sourcing Manager to support the sourcing and procurement of colocation capacity for our cloud infrastructure platform. This role involves evaluating and procuring data center capacity, including colocation space, power, cooling, and connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sourcing and procurement of colocation capacity for cloud infrastructure
- Evaluate and procure data center capacity, including colocation space, power, cooling, and connectivity
- Support capacity planning and demand forecasting for data center resources
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with colocation providers
- Conduct market research and evaluate potential data center sites and providers
- Develop and maintain procurement strategies for data center capacity
- Coordinate with technical, legal, and finance teams on contract terms and SLAs
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Track market pricing trends and benchmark colocation costs
- Support contract renewals, expansions, and new site acquisitions
- Maintain procurement documentation and vendor management records
Requirements
- Experience in data center procurement, colocation sourcing, or infrastructure procurement
- Understanding of data center capacity metrics (power, cooling, space, connectivity)
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience with vendor management and SLA monitoring
- Knowledge of APAC data center market and colocation providers
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- Relevant certifications (CIPS, CPIM) are a plus
