Security Operations Lead for Hyperscale Data Centers - Talent Recruit, Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia

Talent Recruit is seeking a Data Center Security Operations Manager to lead physical security and safeguard multi-site facilities in Johor Bahru. You will drive access governance, guard force management, and surveillance system upkeep to ensure high-availability services for hyperscale and enterprise clients. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will coordinate audits, risk reporting, and compliance with ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead physical security operations across multi-site hyperscale data center facilities in Johor Bahru
• Drive access governance including biometric controls, access protocols, and visitor management
• Manage guard force operations including KPIs, SLA adherence, and SOP development
• Oversee surveillance system upkeep including CCTV, NVR, and alarm monitoring
• Coordinate audits and compliance with ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2 standards
• Manage risk reporting and incident response procedures
• Liaise with corporate risk teams and local authorities
• Oversee security Opex/Capex budgeting and vendor contracts
• Ensure high-availability services for hyperscale and enterprise clients
• Cross-train site engineers on security workflows

Requirements

• Experience in data center security operations management
• Knowledge of physical access control systems (e.g., Lenel), IP surveillance, CCTV/NVR
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and SOC 2 compliance frameworks
• Understanding of BMS, DCIM, and ITSM frameworks
• Leadership experience in a 24/7 high-availability environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• PSP, CISSP, or ITIL certifications are advantageous
