Data Center Procurement Lead: Strategy & Sourcing - Empyrion DC, Singapore

EMPYRION DC PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Manager, Procurement to build an end-to-end procurement capability for its data centre portfolio in Asia. You will own sourcing and tender activity for construction, equipment and services, and lead vendor relationships regionally. Working with design & construction, engineering, operations, legal, and finance, you will implement sourcing best practices, drive cost efficiency, and ensure governance while scaling procurement across Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Build an end-to-end procurement capability for the data centre portfolio in Asia
• Own sourcing and tender activity for construction, equipment, and services
• Lead vendor relationships regionally including contract negotiation and management
• Work with design & construction, engineering, operations, legal, and finance teams
• Implement sourcing best practices and procurement governance frameworks
• Drive cost efficiency and value optimization across the procurement portfolio
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance standards
• Manage supplier onboarding, qualification, and performance management
• Develop and execute procurement strategies for construction and operational procurement
• Support tender evaluation, contract negotiation, and vendor selection
• Drive continuous improvement of procurement processes and frameworks
• Manage procurement risk identification and mitigation

Requirements

• Experience in procurement management, preferably in data center or infrastructure construction
• Strong sourcing and tender management expertise
• Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts across Asia
• Knowledge of procurement governance and compliance frameworks
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• Professional certifications (CIPS, CPIM) preferred
