About the role

What you will do

Depending on your assigned pathway, you will:

• Develop an understanding of Colt’s business, customers, network and operational environment.
• Support day-to-day activities and projects within your assigned Operations & Engineering team.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across different teams and functions.
• Develop practical knowledge and skills relevant to your chosen pathway through hands-on experience and structured learning.
• Support the planning, coordination and continuous improvement of operational activities and processes.
• Analyse information and data to support reporting, decision-making and operational improvements.
• Contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency and service quality.
• Learn and use the systems, tools and processes relevant to your area.
• Build effective relationships with internal teams, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders, as relevant to your pathway.
• Bring fresh ideas and perspectives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Take ownership of your learning and development throughout the programme.

What we're looking for

Your strengths

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Native-level Japanese language skills.
• Conversational English skills.
• Customer-first mindset with good logical and analytical thinking.
• Strong interest in developing a career within Operations, Engineering, Telecommunications or Service Delivery.
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills and technologies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative and proactive approach.
• Flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges.

Depending on the pathway, we may also look for

• Academic background or interest in Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, Engineering, Technology, Business or another relevant discipline.
• Interest in telecommunications, network infrastructure and technology.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to project-based work through university, internships or other activities.
• Ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work outside standard business hours or in a 24/7 operational environment where the selected pathway requires it.
