About the role

Position: Project Manager

Shift Type – General Shift or as per client calendar

Location: Mumbai

Qualification -

B.E./B.Tech./MCA/MBA/Graduate/Post-Graduate in any stream from a recognized university.

Certifications:

  • PMP or equivalent certification and ITIL - Mandatory

  • Preferred Industry Certifications (will be and added advantage) - CSM

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in handling deployment of large-scale IT projects as project manager.

  • Person should have minimum 5 years of experience in network project handling.

Key Technical Exposure (Preferred):

  1. Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Word, excel and PowerPoint, SharePoint.

  2. Good Team Management and co- ordination skills.

  3. Fluent in both spoken and written English. Should be able to understand and speak Hindi or any other local language

  1. Strong leadership with decision-making ability in high-pressure scenarios

  2. Effective team management with proven conflict resolution capabilities

  3. Excellent communication – verbal and written in English (Hindi/local language preferred)

  4. Hands-on experience working with banking clients in regulated, SLA-driven environments

  5. Ability to handle senior-level discussions and cross-functional stakeholder alignment

  6. Strong governance, documentation and program tracking skills (RAG, RAID, MoMs, escalation handling)

  7. Good analytical, reasoning, problem-solving, reporting and follow-up skills

  8. Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  9. Proficiency in Change, Incident, and Problem Management (aligned with ITIL standards)

  10. Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, RBI Guidelines)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement training processes and strategies for all technical personnel

  • Analyse, plan and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects

  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones.

  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.

  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for team members required for specific projects or initiatives.

  • Evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis.

  • Responsible for periodic progress review with the Bank.

  • Responsible for Change management request approvals.

  • Responsible as consultants for the Bank for new technology adoption and effective use of technology resources available at the Bank.

  • Identify and report any risks on the project or technology to the Bank.

  • Responsible for establishing new or enhancement of Data Centres.

  • Product implementation, which includes deployment of new product into the network, solving compatibility issues and configuring it.

  • Responsible for conducting proof of concept for new technologies/devices to be implemented in the Bank

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • End-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery oversight for all initiatives under the project, including but not limited to:

  • SD-WAN Implementation across branches and DC/DR

  • Cisco ACI Implementation, deployment and integration

  • Network and Security Infrastructure Tech Refresh (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers, etc.)

  • Data Centre migration, upgradation, and infra rollouts

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deployment schedules for each individual project initiative, aligned with client expectations

  • Coordinate with OEMs (Cisco, HPE, Juniper, etc.) and SI partners to track hardware delivery, implementation, integration, and UAT

  • Ensure all project-related configurations, documentation, sign-offs, and approvals are tracked and submitted as per compliance and audit norms

  • Lead cross-functional coordination between internal teams, stakeholders, vendors, and field engineers for seamless execution

  • Monitor project progress using project management tools and provide regular updates via dashboards, RAG status reports, and review decks

  • Ensure adherence to client’s internal compliance, change management, and documentation protocols during project lifecycle

  • Identify risks, delays, and dependencies early and initiate appropriate mitigation or escalation

  • Conduct regular governance meetings with all the stakeholders to report project status, milestones, and issues

  • Prepare and maintain trackers for hardware inventory, deployment schedules, UAT, commissioning, and project closure

  • Coordinate DR drills, failover testing, and validations as part of DC/DR-related projects in collaboration with client teams

  • Support client in defining and optimizing network architecture strategies for scalability, redundancy, and performance

  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams for successful rollout and post-implementation support transitions

  • Ensure timely and compliant closure of all audit points, RCA submissions, and process documents associated with the project

  • Maintain SOPs, project artifacts, MOMs, change logs, and stakeholder communication records for audit and reference
