We are expanding our team in Gurugram and looking for a senior Product Manager to drive product strategy and lead its execution.

Job Description

As a senior Product Manager, you will lead the definition and prioritization of product strategy to ensure alignment with strategic business goals and customer needs. You will translate market insights, customer feedback, and technical feasibility into a cohesive product roadmap, and guide cross-functional and Agile teams in executing against it. This role focused on strategic ownership of the product — driving go-to-market direction, stakeholder alignment, and value creation — while also contributing to the growth of a small team supporting the product line. You will work on complex matters requiring in-depth product management expertise and broad industry understanding, exercising independent judgment to navigate ambiguous, high-impact situations.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Market Ownership:

• Own and drive the successful commercialization of products, managing the full lifecycle from concept through market launch and ongoing optimization.
• Define and evolve the value proposition for the product line, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and evolving market trends.
• Develop and implement robust feature strategies based on usage analysis and customer feedback.
• Own strategic planning and strategic thinking for the product roadmap, balancing short-term delivery with long-term product vision.
• Integrate stakeholder feedback, market trends, and technical feasibility into cohesive development plans.

Agile Execution & Delivery:

• Lead prioritization and refinement of product backlogs to ensure alignment with strategic goals and customer needs.
• Serve as Product Owner within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) where applicable — performing backlog grooming and driving Product Increment (PI) planning.
• Guide Agile teams by translating strategic insights into actionable, well-defined features and user stories.
• Based on product demonstrations, accept features into the system baseline.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering to clarify requirements and support delivery through clear sprint and PI objectives.

Stakeholder & Value Management:

• Collaborate with architects and key stakeholders to clarify and deliver project requirements.
• Foster alignment across teams to ensure product outcomes deliver measurable business value.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, representing the product in various meetings and forums.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (Offer management, engineering, design, QA) to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
• Explain and present product strategy and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Continuous Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate and improve product and team processes.
• Stay up to date on the latest industry, market, and technology trends.

Team Leadership

• Mentor, and coach a small team of [product owners/analysts], fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12+ years in product management, product ownership, or related roles, with significant experience in [cloud/IoT/BMS or relevant domain].
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management, strategic planning, strategic thinking, and value proposition creation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a small team, in addition to strong individual ownership of product strategy.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and present concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent judgment skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguous, complex situations.

Tools & Project Management:

• Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira & Confluence Cloud, GitHub Enterprise, and Azure DevOps.
• Experienced professional working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Scaled Agile (SAFe) mode.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience as a Product Manager for a SaaS platform is a strong added advantage.
• Experience with automation systems or industrial/energy sector products is advantageous.
• Certifications in Product Management or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (PO/PM).
