This position reports to

R&D Department/Local Unit Lead__

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to set up and execute tests for different products in accordance with standard testing methodologies and requirements. Each day, you will perform your tasks or activities using skills and techniques as well as a practical understanding of concepts used in the field of technology. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring proper documentation of the test results.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Distribution Solutions division in China.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Responsible for internal lab testing for Medium Voltage GIS (Gas Insulation Switchgear), especially for RMU (Ring Main Unit).
• Perform internal lab tests, e.g. Mechanical Endurance test, Temperature rising test, and dielectric test according to GB3906/GB11022/IEC62271-200/IEC62271-1
• Manage Lab according to 5S.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• Good knowledge about power system and relevant IEC/GB/DL standards.

• Fluent in MS office tools.

• Familiar with power products new technology development trend, especially for RMU

• Familiar with manufacture processes of various parts

• Fluent in both oral and written English. Excellent innovation capability

• Self-motivated, high curiosity and ability to learn about new technologies

• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
